After my divorce, I was juggling work, two kids, and honestly a lot of anger I didn’t know where to put, so I reached out to this counseling service hoping for something practical, not just someone nodding at me. Their team helped me map out actual communication scripts for tough conversations with my ex, and we practiced them in session until I didn’t freeze up anymore. One moment that stuck with me was when one of the counselors gently pointed out a pattern in how I apologized for things that weren’t mine to carry, and that shifted how I handle conflict at work too. I’m sleeping through the night now, and my kids have even commented that I seem lighter, which tells me the work we did there is showing up at home in real ways.
